"Damn You Deren Damn You - an homage to Maya Deren" is a new rework of "Damn You Devil Damn You", a long alternate version to synchronise with "Meshes Of The Afternoon", a 1943 short film by Maya Deren, a pioneer filmmaker and avant garde artist of the previous century. The audiovisual marriage of the two works, with 80 years in between their respective dates of birth, is an attempt to create a new self-existent piece of art.
